Our Club volunteered at this event year and we had a great turnout of 16 MRC members and guests. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) has meal packing events in two-hour shifts across the United States. The meals are distributed around the world. Per their 2026 Annual Report, FMSC distributed meals to 1,046,904 children and had 1,207,456 volunteers across the U.S. Volunteers assemble MannaPack meals containing rice, soy, dried vegetables, vitamins and minerals. The assembly line approach allows MRC members and other community members to work as a team. It's fast paced and fun! |

Every year, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's takes place in over 600 communities nationwide. The Walk is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. As we did at last year’s Walk, MRC volunteers will serve as Greeters providing information to the Walkers and their families as they arrive, directing them to the check-in tables and the Promise Flower Garden and providing encouragement to the Walkers as they approach and cross the finish line. |
