Rotarians,

Our club continues to make a positive impact in many ways.  Last week, Ike Ehie and Rebecca Gould informed us that Ryadi Adityavarman, Associate Professor Interior Architecture and Product Design, has been selected to receive a 2015 Rotary Peace Fellowship.  Ryadi has been assigned to the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the June 2015 session. We are fortunate to have members like Rebecca, Ike, Bill Richter and Steven Graham involved in making these opportunities possible.

I have attached a flyer detailing the 2015 Polio Immunization Program in India next February.  If you have an interest in this trip, you should register soon as limited space is available.

Ron Wilson shared stories of Amazing Kansans with us last week.  In my opinion, Ron is amazing in his ability to tell stories in such a captivating manner.  I appreciate Ron and his willingness to share some of his stories.

This Thursday we will open our meeting with a short ceremony, led by Major Shawwn Martin,  to recognize and honor our veterans.  Plan to arrive early as you won't want to miss this presentation.  This week's program will be Vern Henricks sharing "A Rotarian's View of Philanthropy."

I hope to see you Thursday for lunch.
