Weekly Updates from President Wertzberger

This week is going quickly by and can’t believe tomorrow is Thursday and time for us to meet!  So let me be brief:

This past Thursday we had our 2^nd club assembly for 2013-2014 Rotary year.  We had a great turnout and allowed the committees to spend time on their projects.  Thank you all for participating.  It is why Manhattan Rotary Club is so strong and vibrant!  The board will receive the reports and continue to act on the recommendations from the chairs.

Tomorrow we look forward to recognizing 2 students from Manhattan High as our students of the month and we will introduce our newest Rotarian,   Stephen Spidle.

Our guest speaker will be Retired Colonel and Director of the Flint Hills Regional Council, Bill Clark.
