Weekly Update from President Scott Emley

Rotarians,

With the beautiful fall weather comes the time of year we start considering nominations for our Rotary Club officers and board of directors.  Past President Dick Wertzberger will chair the nominating committee and would welcome your input regarding nominations to fill vacant positions.  This is a great way to serve and give back to our club.  If you are interested in serving or know a member you think would be a good addition to the leadership team of our club, please contact Dick.

Last week we welcomed Savannah Thaemert and Danny Aramouni, our MHS Students of The Month for October.  Our program featured Toree Pederson from the Alliance for Childhood Education.   She presented compelling statistics for the development and commitment to early childhood education initiatives.  

This week our program will be Rob Edleston, President of Manhattan Area Technical College.  I hope to see you this Thursday for lunch!
