Manhattan Rotary Club Challenge

In honor of District Governor John Vandewalle’s visit and to recognize Gary LaGrange, the Manhattan Rotary Club along with our sister clubs are providing donations, school supplies, backpacks and books for Help Us Learn…Give Us Hope.

Colonel LaGrange can purchase supplies through import companies at a 75% discount. What costs $32 for one student at Walmart, costs $5 through an import company. For $1.08 supplies can be shipped for a child. For approximately $200, an entire school has supplies; $1200 can provide for 6 schools, etc.

Our challenge is to surpass last year’s contributions of $936 in donations, 934 lbs in supplies and $936 in the District Simplified Grant monies.

Please join the challenge by contributing monies, supplies, backpacks and books in honor of the work of Gary LaGrange and our District Governor. We will embrace humanity through these efforts.

Monies and supplies can be brought to any Rotary meeting from now until August 25. The location of the evening event on August 25 will be announced. Checks can be made to Help Us Learn…Give Us Hope.
