Last Week's Program Jeff Gill, Tallgrass Brewing Company

Jeff Gill of Tallgrass Brewing Company shared with us his story of how he went from a career as a geologist to leading a fast growing brewery.  The decision to change careers was made in 2006 when Jeff's wife Tricia ask the question "what do you want to do with the rest of your life?"  His answer was "I want to start a microbrewery." His dream became reality in 2007 when they settled in Manhattan and began the business.  Tallgrass Brewing Company now sells its beer in cans and on tap in 14 states.  Jeff's commitment to service and having an "open heart" towards others is in the spirit of service above self. He stresses the importance of service and hospitality with his team of employees and distributors.
