  • Last week was Club Assembly day.  Thanks to everyone who participated in the various committee and subcommittee meetings.  The Board will be discussing the ideas that came out of the various discussions.
  • This week our program will be the Manhattan High Pops Choir!  We also will be honoring the December Students of the Month.
  • Just a reminder that our contributions to the Rotary Foundation are down significantly when compared with the same time frame in previous years.  This is true for both the number of members contributing as well as the amount that has been contributed.  Please consider giving to the Rotary Foundation any amount for which you are comfortable – our goal is 100% participation.
  • We had a great time at our special holiday edition of Rotary on Tap on Monday, December 10th at Harry's.  Thanks to Nathalie Kind-Chalmers and Rachel Klataske for doing all the work and getting things set up and ready to go.  Our next Rotary on Tap will be January 21 at Taphouse.  Come to our meeting this week and have an opportunity to name the beer that is being brewed for us for the January 21 Rotary on Tap.
  • Please don’t forget to fill out the “mentor form” if you are interested in becoming a mentor for one of our Rotaractors.  I understand we are still short of mentors.
  • December 17 is our Volunteer Day at the Breadbasket.  Remember to see Jason Cyr if you can volunteer or email Jayson at jcyr66@aol.com
  • We will not be having a meeting on December 27 or January 3.
  • Finally, congratulations to Past President Vern Henricks, who was selected to be the District Governor for District 5710 during the Rotary year 2020-2021.
