Rotary Club Updates November 1, 2018
- Last week our program was Dr. Frank Tracz, Director of the Kansas State Marching Band. Frank highlighted the schedule he and his 420 band members go through on a Saturday home football game. All I can say is wow!
- This week our program will be Bruce Weber, K-State’s head men’s basketball coach. I really look forward to hearing coach’s thoughts on the upcoming season.
- November is the month we, as Rotarian’s, remember the Rotary Foundation and the excellent work the Foundation has supported throughout the world.
- This is the final reminder that the District 5710 Foundation Dinner is November 3, beginning at 6 pm in the Overland Park Sheraton. I have registered but will be unable to attend should someone want to go in my place.
- What great weather for the C Clyde run, fun run, walk last Saturday. I’m sure all involved had good time while supporting an excellent cause.
- Please don’t forget to fill out the “mentor form” if you are interested in becoming a mentor for one of our Rotaractors.
