recorded introduction can be viewed here.

Rodrigo is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has lived in Manhattan since 2011.    He attended the University of Lavras in his home country, majoring in Agronomy, and  is currently pursuing his Ph D. in Plant Pathology at K-State. Rodrigo has also studied in Holland, California, and Toronto, and is the vice-president and founder of the Brazilian Student Association here at K-State.  He is honored to be a member of Rotary International, and would like to facilitate greater mentorship between Rotarians and Brazilian scholars at KSU.   Seven days a week, Rodrigo can be found in his lab at Throckmorton Hall, using his micorscope to stop disease in soybeans.  His research directly helps Kansas farmers, and could someday help crop production world-wide.
